Mercy Tyler Hospital is located in Tunkhannock, the gateway to the beautiful Endless Mountains region of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Nestled along the scenic Susquehanna River, Mercy Tyler is a 58-bed Acute Care provider dedicated to creating a healthy community by providing patient-focused health care, which is provided to a three-county rural area. As the only hospital in Wyoming County, it is the healthcare safety net for the region it serves.

Mercy Tyler is a small hospital, but offers most of the services of a larger facility. It has a 300 - member staff, a 24-hour Emergency Department, ICU, Med/Surg, Short Stay Unit, Renal Dialysis, Cancer Care, Cardiac Rehab, Home Health Agency, Physical & Occupational Therapy, Imaging & Nuclear Medicine, Laboratory and the finest laparoscopic surgeons in the region. Flexible SS Hours

Med/Surg – every other weekend and holiday

 

RN with strong leadership skills. ACLS preferred. Must be a team player and flexible with hours. Must have excellent customer services skills and communication skills.
OR
(1) OR Scrub Tech FT 7am - 3:30pm with call Assists surgeon during operative and invasive procedures. Ensures operating suite is adequately prepared for procedure. Monitor PAR level of all surgical instruments and supplies.
ICU          
  (1) Ward Clerk FT 7am – 3:30pm High school diploma or GED. Must have excellent computer skills, medical terminology, good interpersonal skills and organizational skills.  
ANESTHESIA          
  (2) CRNA FT DAYS with call Must have current nursing license. AANA certification.
ER/MICU          
  (1) Paramedic  RPT 50%   Various Shifts Must have experience in medical command. Must have current ACLS, PALS, CPR and EVOC. BTLS preferred, willing to train.
  (1) Paramedic  FT   Flexible Must have experience in medical command. Must have current ACLS, PALS, CPR and EVOC. BTLS preferred, willing to train.
Respirtory          
  (1) Therapist FT Evenings/Nights Must have current PA license and certification or registry. Weekend and holiday rotation.
Pharmacy          
  (2) Pharmacist PD Various Must have current PA license. Hospital experience preferred but not required.
Physical Therapy          
  (1) Speech Language Pathologist PD Various Must have current Pa license and CCC certification.  New grads welcome to apply.
Laboratory          
  (1) Phlebotomist / Lab Aide RPT 80% Primarily Days with Various Shifts Must have good phlebotomy skills, good computer skills and good customer service skills. Must be flexible in scheduling of working hours.
Registration
(1) Registration Clerk FT 3pm - 11pm High school graduate. Must be detailed oriented. Must have good computer skills and organizational skills. Must have good customer service skills. Knowledge of coding and billing a plus.
UR / SS / CM
UR / CM / SS RN PD Days Must have current RN license.
