National Hospital Week
Dear Editor,
Americas hospitals are positive, vital places that promote health
and well-being. Thats the message health care facilities across
the country are voicing as they celebrate National Hospital Week, which
is May 11 17, 2008.
For 2008, organizers have selected a united theme that emphasizes the healing
process: National Hospital Week Where Healing Happens
Every Day.
Here at Tyler, we celebrate the employees, physicians and volunteers who
provide the healing that happens here. We also celebrate the people
who come to us for their health and wellness needs.
Some of the events this week include an employee breakfast (which is prepared
by the hospital managers), donuts (from our Chaplains), pizza (from the
Board of Directors), theme days, visits to hospital departments, and raffles.
We plan a fun week to celebrate everything that makes Tyler the wonderful
hospital that it is.
Please join me in recognizing the contribution that Tyler Memorial Hospital
makes to this community every day.
Sincerely,
Denise Gieski
President and CEO
